Responsibilities:
Position Responsibilities
This position is responsible for protecting life and property, enforcing laws and ordinances, responding to calls for service, conducting patrols, investigating incidents, and maintaining public safety. Officers are expected to work collaboratively with the community, demonstrate professionalism and integrity, prepare accurate reports, and support the overall mission of the department through proactive policing, problem-solving, and public service.
Lateral Transfer Program Details:
Current union contract gives discretion on credit for years of service towards pay and accrued vacation time.

- Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification
