The Town of Minocqua Police Department is proud to serve Wisconsin’s beautiful north woods. While we offer the charm of a small town, we’re far from typical. Our community spans approximately 180 square miles and includes 190 miles of town roadways — giving you plenty of room to roam. We’re home to some of the region’s largest schools: our elementary and middle schools serve four area towns, and our high school serves twelve. We’re also fortunate to have two excellent hospitals nearby, Marshfield Clinic Minocqua Center and Howard Young Medical Center. Though our year-round population is just over 5,000, our recreational opportunities attract seasonal residents and visitors that can triple that number. It’s a vibrant, active place to live and work. Why Work With Us? • Quality of Life: Live where others vacation, surrounded by lakes, forests, and outdoor adventure. • Generous Time Off: We believe in work-life balance and offer a lucrative time-off package so our officers can recharge and stay at their best. • Supportive Team: We’re a close-knit department that values professionalism, community, and camaraderie. • Special Assignment Opportunities: We offer more than just patrol, there is the opportunity for School Resource Officer, snowmobile patrol, boat patrol, and more! Interested? Let’s Connect! Have questions about our department? Give us a call , or better yet, schedule a ride-along. We’d love to show you around and give you a firsthand look at what makes Minocqua special. Apply today and discover why we love working and living here!
