The West Bend Police Department is accepting applications for a full-time Records Clerk. Candidates must be of good moral character, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must possess strong customer service skills and be able to interact with a diverse population. Candidates must possess a working knowledge of standard office practices, computer operation, and be able to maintain absolute confidentiality. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in processing open records requests and working with Pro-Phoenix or similar record management systems. The position will be assigned an administrative Monday through Friday schedule with an occasional Saturday shift, however, the ability to work evenings and weekends may be required under exigent circumstances. Candidates selected to participate in the hiring process will complete an initial online testing process to determine eligibility. Additional selection criteria will include an interview, background check, and drug screen. The current starting salary is $24.71 plus a competitive benefit package.
