Position Responsibilities

The Sheboygan Police Department uses continuous recruitment for the position of Police Officer. The Sheboygan Police Department is a progressive police agency that uses a Community-Oriented, Neighborhood-Based police strategy.   We value collaborative problem solving as a means of providing quality, interactive police service for the purpose of creating a vibrant and healthy community for those who live, work and recreate in our city.

Lateral Transfer Program Details:

Now accepting lateral transfers – new hires can receive up to 5 years of credit for prior police experience for both pay and vacation steps, depending on experience.
