The City of Beloit Police Department, a department whose personnel are committed to protecting the lives, property and rights of all residents, is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. The Department continues to evolve through enhanced leadership, strong community relationships, and modern-day policing strategies. City of Beloit Police Officers are responsible for ensuring the constitutional rights of all residents. Police Officers enforce the laws of the State of Wisconsin and the ordinances of the City of Beloit. Primarily, officers focus on the prevention of criminal activity and disorder in City of Beloit neighborhoods while providing day-to-day police service and engagement with the community.
