Responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities

Protect life and maintain public safety patrol activities, respond to complaints, crime prevention and community policing, conduct criminal investigations including search and seizures, evidence collection, affidavits and search warrants, problem solving, investigate traffic violation/crashes, enforce laws and ordinances, ability to communicate and resolve conflicts, testify in court, and complete official records and requests. Lateral Transfer Program Details:

LATERAL TRANSFERS- The Village of East Troy accepts lateral transfer from qualified law enforcement officers. Officer's may be hired under the lateral transfer letter agreement and receive a starting salary and vacation allowance based on one or more of the officer's prior years of service at the discretion of the Chief of Police and approval of the Village Board. Lateral Transfer Letter of Agreement can be emailed upon request

  • Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification
