Responsibilities:
The Village of Elkhart Lake is hiring part-time officers. Responsibilities include enforcing local ordinances and state laws, patrol duties, responding to calls for service, resolving disputes, investigating crime, and protecting the public. Small town agencies offer opportunity to learn and grow! We proudly provide law enforcement services to the Village of Elkhart Lake, Town of Rhine and Village of Glenbeulah with a combined population of 3,700 residents but a summer population that swells to over 10,000. There is an emphasis on working nights and weekends and working as much as you want! Guaranteed at least 20+ hours a week. There is also a possibility of moving into a full-time position.
