Responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities

• Perform detailed data entry for municipal citations, incident and accident reports, warnings, false alarms, and parking citations

• Prepare, copy, distribute, and maintain police reports for officers, courts, the District Attorney’s Office, DOT, and public records requests

• Provide front counter customer service, including accepting payments and assisting the public and other agencies

• Answer and route phone calls to dispatch, officers and command staff

• Maintain department logs, correspondence, files, and records (paper and electronic)

• Process parking citations, warning letters, and related documentation

• Prepare and submit monthly crime statistics reports (WIBRS)

• Assist with departmental reports, policy updates, and the annual report

• Coordinate administrative support for special events and community activities

• Maintain office equipment and supplies; request service when needed

• Attend training and perform other duties as assigned by command staff
