  • Driver's license
  • Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification

  • Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
  • No domestic abuse convictions
  • No felony convictions
  • React quickly and effectively to stressful situations
  • U.S. citizen

  • The department is exploring the possibility of sponsoring select candidates to attend a Wisconsin Law Enforcement Academy. If implemented, sponsored recruits may receive a percentage of the patrol officer starting wage during the academy.
