Position Responsibilities
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as a Police Officer. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations. You will perform general police functions including patrol, criminal law enforcement, traffic code enforcement, ordinance enforcement, maintaining public peace, protecting life and property, problem-solving, and working with the community to address community needs. Experienced Officer Program: Eligible for shortened probationary period, higher starting wage and additional vacation.

- Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification

60 college credits / Associate's degree
Additional Education Information
Must be enrolled in or have successfully completed a 720-hour Law Enforcement Academy program certified by the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board (LESB); OR be eligible to take the LESB reciprocity examination based on prior employment as a certified or licensed law enforcement or tribal law enforcement officer in another state; OR have held full-time military veteran status in a law enforcement-related Military Occupational Specialty (Military Police, Security Forces, or Master-at-Arms) for a minimum of one year beyond completion of academy training, fully empowered and compensated for all hours worked, and currently employed in or voluntarily separated from that position within the past three years.
