We recruit candidates from a variety of professions including business, education, health care, and military, among others. The successful candidate should have a service orientation and a strong desire to make a positive impact on the quality of life in his or her community. Furthermore, he or she will possess good verbal and written communication skills, strong problem solving skills, sound judgment, the ability to react quickly and effectively in stressful situations, the ability to perform all essential functions of the position, and the ability to use all standard law enforcement equipment.
