Responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities

Officers alternate days of jailing and dispatching. It’s a challenging job with a ton of variety including something different every day! Duties include answering 911 lines and local calls for service, dispatching appropriate emergency responders to calls, dispatching police, and responding to radio requests from officers. Alternate days are spent maintaining and conducting the general operation of our 22-bed jail. Must be organized and have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations. A high school diploma is all that is required! Full training provided! Working with others who have compassion and a call to serve the public, makes for a great team environment!
