Position Responsibilities

As a 911 Dispatcher at the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office Communications Center, you will work closely with the public and first responders in stressful situations that require that you remain calm, think clearly, and use good judgement.

Lateral Transfer Program Details:

This position is also eligible for lateral transfer. Years of service working full-time as a dispatcher will laterally transfer as if the applicant worked those years for the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office. Hourly wage and vacation balance will be determined based on the applicant’s current years of service, and employees transferring with three or more years of service will start with an additional sick/family leave balance.
