Seeking to establish an eligibility list for a possible future full-time opening. We are also hiring part-time officers for summer boat patrol. WPD has 7 full-time officers, 4 part-time officers, including an SRO, Lieutenant, ICAC Investigator, Therapy K9, Training Officers, DARE, and vacant drug investigator position. WPD also contracts with Marion Township for boat patrol, which is optional for overtime. New squads, Axon cameras and squad LPR's. All uniforms are provided.
