The Lake Delton Police Department is now accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Community Service Officer (CSO). This position is ideal for a candidate with the ultimate goal of attending the 720-hour LE Academy and becoming a sworn police officer.

Responsibilities:
The Community Service Officer will provide support to sworn personnel by relieving them of routine duties by responding to non-emergency, low priority calls for service and carrying out specific assignments related to criminal investigation; writing police reports and collecting evidence; taking custody of stolen or lost property; responding to and investigating non-injury accidents; other duties as required. The CSO may also be assigned to assist the Department’s Property Room Manager.

Qualifications:
- Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
- Ability to perform essential functions of this position
- Ability to use all standard law enforcement equipment
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Clear and concise speech
- Driver's license
- Good driving record
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
- No domestic abuse convictions
- No felony convictions
- React quickly and effectively to stressful situations
- Supervisory/Management Experience
- Vision correctable to 20/20
- Minimum Age:
