This hourly (part-time) position will typically be scheduled to work 40 hours in a pay period (two-week timeframe), generally a 1 week on, 1 week off schedule. This is a non-represented, classified position.

  • Ability to perform essential functions of this position
  • Ability to possess a firearm
  • Ability to use all standard law enforcement equipment
  • Driver's license
  • Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • No felony convictions
  • Minimum Age:

Other Qualifications
  • Must be a certified Law Enforcement Officer in the State of Wisconsin or, have been employed as a Law Enforcement Officer in the State of Wisconsin within the last 48 months
  • Must reside in Wisconsin
  • At least three (3) years of Wisconsin Law Enforcement experience.

Additional Education Information
Possession of an associate degree or higher from an accredited college/university OR must possess a minimum of sixty (60) college level credits from an accredited college/university at the time of hire.
