Position Responsibilities

This vital position is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the Governor’s Residence and providing protection for the Governor, First Family, staff, and visitors. With frequent events hosted at the Residence throughout the year, this position plays a key role in event security, visitor screening, and threat response. This position focuses on monitoring and operating security systems, surveillance cameras, and alarm systems, conducting access control screening and vetting of all individuals entering the property, providing physical security for the residence, staff, guests, and visitors, and responding to any incidents, threats, or emergencies at the Residence. This position requires strong observational, communication, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and make quick decisions while under pressure. Candidates with prior experience in security or executive protection are encouraged to apply!
