Responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities

General duty police work involving protection of life and property. Maintain public safety, uniform patrol operations focusing on proactive community interactions and involvement. Respond to calls of service involving in progress crimes, medical emergencies, process crime scenes and conduct thorough investigations. Enforce federal and state laws along with tribal ordinances. Complete and submit accurate reports, investigate traffic accidents and identify the proper violation. Ability to provide professional court room testimony.

  • Ability to perform essential functions of this position

  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Clear and concise speech
  • Driver's license
  • Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification
  • Good driving record
  • Good physical condition
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
  • No domestic abuse convictions
  • No felony convictions
  • React quickly and effectively to stressful situations
  • U.S. citizen
