Join our department!. Officers work a 4-on, 5-off rotation, 12-hour shifts. We offer many specialty positions, including K-9, SWAT, ICAC Investigations, Instructors, and supervisory roles. Residency is 30 miles from Clintonville.

Responsibilities:
Clintonville Police Officers protect and serve the community by preventing and controlling crime, preserving peace, regulating traffic, managing quality-of-life issues, and providing emergency services. Clintonville Police Officers are expected to show initiative and care in identifying and resolving community problems, engaging citizens, and serving victims. Staff members participate in many different community functions to continue building positive relationships with our community.
Lateral Transfer Program Details:
The Chief of Police has the authority and discretion to start officers at a higher wage based on their full-time experience.

Qualifications:
- Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
- Ability to perform essential functions of this position
- Ability to possess a firearm
- Ability to use all standard law enforcement equipment
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Clear and concise speech
- Driver's license
- Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification
- Good driving record
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
- No domestic abuse convictions
- No felony convictions
- React quickly and effectively to stressful situations
- U.S. citizen
- Vision correctable to 20/20
