Position Responsibilities

The Village of Eagle Police Department is seeking part time police officers with prior law enforcement experience to serve a village of approximately 2,300 residents. Primary work shift would be second shift with double time Holiday pay incentive. Primary duties include but are not limited to patrol operations, traffic enforcement, state and municipal code enforcement, report writing, and court preparation. The Village of Eagle police department continues to display excellence in community support, embraces community policing and strives to enhance community awareness and crime prevention.

  • Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to perform essential functions of this position
  • Ability to possess a firearm
  • Ability to use all standard law enforcement equipment
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Clear and concise speech
  • Driver's license
  • Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification
  • Good driving record
  • Good physical condition
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
  • No domestic abuse convictions
  • No felony convictions
  • Previous experience
  • React quickly and effectively to stressful situations
