Responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities

• Provides customer service to internal and external customers; greets, receives and screens visitors and customers; addresses and resolves customer questions as able and refers complex inquiries, requests, or complaints to appropriate staff.

• Performs case review and validation; uploads case reports into records management system; verifies accuracy of report and classification submittal to the state; and maintains availability and confidentiality of Police records.

• Enters and retrieves data from various data systems.

• Responds to information requests from other enforcement officials and the public.

• Processes and enters department written reports daily.

• Conducts record checks as requested.

• Prepares documents for court proceedings as required.

• Process expungements/sealings.

• Provides copies of police reports and record checks; receives payment for copies; prepares recording of funds received and makes deposits.

• Prepares outgoing mail requests, including record checks, accident reports and other reports.

• Schedules fingerprints and receives payments.

• Maintains subpoena court calendar including reviewing schedules and distributing appropriate notices.

• Monthly: Validation of WI DOJ Time System entries; warrant entry; validation and cancelling

• Checking and transmitting of citations and accidents in Tracs Reporting system (daily) • Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

Education Requirements
High school diploma
Additional Education Information
High School Diploma/equivalent and two (2) years of administrative support experience, preferably
in records management.
