Responsibilities:
Position Responsibilities
The Chief of Police is responsible for the executive leadership of the law enforcement functions of the City of Berlin Police Department consistent with WI State Statutes. As a community leader, the Chief shall mentor and empower the members to further enhance the police/community relationship and demonstrate exceptional personal, verbal and written communication skills. The Chief of Police is responsible for the development and administration of the departmental annual operating budget of $1.6 million.

- Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification

- Supervisory/Management Experience
