Reason for Announcement:
Responsibilities:
Entry level officer responsible for patrolling City of Rhinelander; enforcement of State laws and City ordinances; ordinance, criminal and traffic investigations; and all other functions outlined in position description or as designated by Administration.
Lateral Transfer Program Details:
* Currently employed as a full-time police officer and have a minimum of 3 years continuous service in this capacity. * An exemplary work history * Certified or certifiable by the State of Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Bureau * At least 21 years of age at the date of hire * High School graduate * Have 60 college credits at the time of hire * A valid Wisconsin Driver's License * No criminal record

- Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification
