The Newburg Police Department proudly serves a community of approximately 1,200 residents and is currently seeking motivated, professional law enforcement officers to join our team. We are looking for experienced officers (minimum of 3 years full-time preferred) to work part-time hours ranging from 20 to 50 hours per month. This position offers a high level of flexibility, allowing officers to create their own schedules based on availability and department needs. This opportunity is ideal for: Retired officers looking to stay active in law enforcement, Full-time officers seeking to supplement their income.

Responsibilities:
Officers with the Newburg Police Department perform a variety of law enforcement and community policing duties, including: -Patrol village streets and neighborhoods -Enforce traffic laws and village ordinances -Respond to calls for service and emergencies -Investigate complaints, suspicious activity, and crashes -Complete reports, citations, and other documentation -Assist residents -Provide security and traffic control during community events -Work cooperatively with neighboring agencies and county dispatch -Promote positive community relations through professional and proactive policing.
