Responsibilities:
Part-Time Police Officer: This a fully sworn officer position. Part-time officers fill in for open shifts due to scheduling gaps and officers taking off. We work a 4 on 5 off rotation, 12-hour shifts. There will be plenty of shifts to work. Responsibilities: Traffic enforcement, ordinance enforcement, parking enforcement, calls for service, patrol duties, community policing activities that include being part of department for events and social contacts by interacting with the general public during your shift. Preference given to those who have completed the 720hr academy or are already certified.

- Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
- Ability to perform essential functions of this position

- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Clear and concise speech
- Driver's license
- Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification
- Good driving record
- Good physical condition

- Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
- No domestic abuse convictions
