The Village of Woodville is currently accepting applications for a fulltime Police Officer. The Village of Woodville offers competitive benefits. HSA contribution, if eligible, Stipend in lieu of insurance, and Wisconsin retirement. You will work a pitman schedule 2 on 2 off 3 on 2 off and 3 off, so you get every other weekend off. Officers also receive call out, and court pay. Uniform and your duty weapon and other equipment will be provided by the Police Department. The Village of Woodville will also consider putting the right applicant through the 720 Law Enforcement Academy, this would include a pro-rated hourly rate, tuition costs, meal reimbursement, mileage or hotel reimbursement. Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and interviews will be scheduled accordingly until the position is filled.

Responsibilities:
The Village of Woodville is responsible for performing a variety of tasks including but not limited to enforcing laws and ordinances of the State of Wisconsin and the Village of Woodville, conduct criminal investigations, investigate accidents, and solve community problems, respond to routine and emergent requests for police assistance, and to patrol and maintain law and order in the Village of Woodville.
