Responsibilities:
The Police Department is seeking a dedicated and community focused Police Officer to join our team. This position is responsible for delivering professional law enforcement services, protecting life and property, and supporting a safe environment for our community and visitors. Responsibilities include but not limited to; performing essential functions of law enforcement, effective communication skills, conducting investigations, report writing, enforcing laws, community collaboration and delivering physical functions of a police officer.

Qualifications:
- Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
- Ability to perform essential functions of this position
- Ability to possess a firearm
- Ability to use all standard law enforcement equipment
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Clear and concise speech
- Driver's license
- Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification
- Good driving record
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- No domestic abuse convictions
- No felony convictions
- React quickly and effectively to stressful situations
- U.S. citizen
- Vision correctable to 20/20
