Responsibilities:
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES The purpose of the position is to enforce tribal and federal laws, including traffic enforcement, within the Menominee Indian Reservation. Under the direct supervision of the Sergeant on duty. EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Familiarize themselves with the assigned areas and be aware of individuals living in those areas. Patrol assigned area to enforce traffic, prevent crime and arrest violators as appropriate. Traffic enforcement will be consistent and done routinely while on duty. Dispense unruly crowds at public gatherings within Departmental guidelines. Render first aide at the scene of accidents, medical assistance calls, domestic violence calls or anywhere else within the jurisdiction as needed. Direct and control traffic around fires accidents and other disruptions as needed.
