We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as a Police Officer. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations. You will perform general police functions including patrol, criminal law enforcement, traffic code enforcement, ordinance enforcement, maintaining public peace, protecting life and property, problem-solving, and working with the community to address community needs.

  • Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to perform essential functions of this position
  • Ability to possess a firearm
  • Ability to use all standard law enforcement equipment
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Clear and concise speech
  • Driver's license
  • Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification
  • Good driving record
  • Good physical condition
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
  • No domestic abuse convictions
  • No felony convictions
  • Previous experience
  • React quickly and effectively to stressful situations
  • U.S. citizen
  • Vision correctable to 20/20

  • Other State and Military Law Enforcement eligible for the Wisconsin reciprocity exam encouraged also to apply.

60 college credits / Associate's degree
Additional Education Information
Must have graduated from a law enforcement recruit academy, be currently enrolled in one, or be enrolled in one within the next six months.
