Responsibilities:
Policing with Purpose - Through Collaboration, Commitment, and Courtesy! We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to provide police services to the City of Cuba City, including the enforcement of city ordinances, traffic codes, and state and federal laws. Protect life and property, maintain public peace, and prevent crime through proactive community engagement and collaboration.
Lateral Transfer Program Details:
The Police Committee shall have the discretion to determine the starting vacation package and salary of a newly hired employee, taking into account the officer's years of experience.

Qualifications:
- Ability to perform essential functions of this position
- Ability to possess a firearm
- Ability to use all standard law enforcement equipment
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Clear and concise speech
- Driver's license
- Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- No domestic abuse convictions
- No felony convictions
- React quickly and effectively to stressful situations
- U.S. citizen
- Vision correctable to 20/20
