General duty police work involves protection of life and property, enforcement of laws, crime investigation, and service to the public.

Lateral Transfer Program Details:

A newly hired law enforcement officer who has previous law enforcement experience of minimum one (1) year of uninterrupted full-time employment with a different Police Department prior to being part of the Green Lake Police Department shall receive pay and vacation days using a calculation of all aggregate law enforcement service.

  • Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification

  • Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
