Responsibilities:
*No experience needed - On the Job Training* Training in the jail with staff and a 4-week Correctional Academy. Responsible for safety and security of inmates. Meal pass, med pass, escort of inmates, inmate book ins, book outs, updating logs, monitoring cameras. Work rotation is 12 hour shifts - 4 on, 4 off

Qualifications:
- Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
- Ability to perform essential functions of this position
- Ability to possess a firearm
- Ability to use all standard law enforcement equipment
- Clear and concise speech
- Driver's license
- Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification
- Good driving record
- Good physical condition
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
- No domestic abuse convictions
- No felony convictions
- Vision correctable to 20/20
