Responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities

Provide police services to the community of Sturgeon Bay by enforcing criminal law, traffic code, and city ordinances. Maintain public order, protect life and property, work in partnership with the community to identify and resolve community issues.

Lateral Transfer Program Details:

Lateral Transfer officers may be eligible for lateral entry benefits for full time and part time LE experience to include a starting wage up to top wage at 4th year, may be granted vacation benefits up to step 25 years based upon the credited years of service, and may be advanced 2 years (192 hours) sick leave.
