UW-Whitewater Police are committed to protecting the lives, property, and rights of all residents, through proactive policing, community engagement, and strong partnerships. Patrol officer responsibilities include but aren’t limited to; responding to calls for service, conducting criminal investigations, enforcing state and UWS18 violations; enforcement and monitoring of traffic laws.
Lateral Transfer Program Details:
10 of our current 17 officers transferred to us with prior experience. That experience and knowledge is valued by our team, as we are always looking to improve and find a better way. Qualifications:
- Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
- Ability to perform essential functions of this position

- Clear and concise speech
- Driver's license
- Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification
