Position Responsibilities
This is a professional position involving general duty police work in maintaining law and order, enforcing laws and ordinances, keeping the peace and serving the general public. The work involves an element of personal danger, responsibility for protecting life and property as a uniformed police officer, conduct patrol duties for the purpose of deterring criminal/unlawful activity and providing public protection.
Lateral Transfer Program Details:
Qualified candidate must have a minimum of 1-year uninterrupted experience in patrol. Transfers are provided elevated pay rate and vacation time.
