The Village of Woodville is accepting applications for a full-time Police Officer. The Village of Woodville offers a competitive benefits package, including employer contributions, health insurance, and participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System. Officers work a 2-3 rotating schedule, with every other weekend off. Additional compensation is provided for call-ins and court appearances. Firearms, duty equipment, and uniforms are furnished by the Village. The Village also offers an in-training program for applicants who have not yet completed the 720-hour Wisconsin Law Enforcement Academy. Participants in the program receive an hourly wage while attending the academy, along with meal and mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities:
Woodville Police Officers will be responsible for performing a wide variety of law enforcement duties to protect the public and preserve the safety and well-being of the community. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, fostering positive public relations; enforcing Wisconsin state laws and local Village ordinances; maintaining public order and peace; protecting life and property; conducting criminal investigations; investigating traffic crashes and other incidents; responding to emergency and non-emergency calls for service; preparing reports and maintain accurate records; and performing other duties as assigned. Officers are expected to exercise sound judgment, professionalism, and integrity while providing fair, impartial, and community-oriented policing services.

- Clear and concise speech
- Driver's license
- Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification
