Responsibilities:
General patrol officer duties that include the following but not limited to: Traffic enforcement, ordinance enforcement, calls for service, parking enforcement, community policing activities. It is required to be present and visible with the community and build relationships with the citizenry. This position is designed to cover open shifts. A part-time officer must be able to work at least 4 shifts a month. Part-time officers are a significant part of our team.

Qualifications:
- Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
- Ability to perform essential functions of this position

- Ability to use all standard law enforcement equipment
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Clear and concise speech
- Driver's license
- Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification
- Good driving record
- Good physical condition
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
- No domestic abuse convictions
- No felony convictions
- React quickly and effectively to stressful situations
- Vision correctable to 20/20
