This position enforces all Federal, State, and local laws regarding criminal and traffic incidents, and is responsible for the preservation of public peace and protection of property.

  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Driver's license
  • Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification
  • Good driving record
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • No domestic abuse convictions
  • No felony convictions
  • React quickly and effectively to stressful situations

  • Possess a high school diploma or GED certificate; 60 college credits, an Associate Degree or obtain 60 college credits within 5 years of hire; have excellent moral character; Must meet requirements established by the WI Law Enforcement Standards Board
