Position Responsibilities
The City of Gillett is located in Oconto County WI, 37 miles northwest of Green Bay, with a population of approximately 1600 residents. General duties include but are not limited to proactive patrol, enforcement of state and county laws and city ordinances, answer calls for service, conduct investigations, make arrests, testify in court, and any other duties assigned by the Chief of Police. Officers are expected to be able to work independently, with a high degree of self-discipline, integrity and decision-making ability. The positions are union represented.
