Responsibilities:
Enforce state and local laws and ordinances; identify and apprehend offenders; issue citations or make arrests when necessary. Conduct vehicle or foot patrols to deter and detect criminal activity, ensure public safety, and maintain visibility within the community. Respond promptly to calls for service, crashes, crimes in progress, and emergencies; provide aid and coordinate with fire and medical personnel. Enforce traffic laws, investigate motor vehicle crashes, direct traffic flow, and assist motorists. Build trust and cooperation through positive interactions, school programs, and community events. Collaborate with citizens, schools, and businesses to identify and resolve recurring issues affecting safety or quality of life.
