Position Responsibilities

Protect and serve the City of Beaver Dam along with enforcing municipal ordinances and criminal laws.

Lateral Transfer Program Details:

The lateral transfer program is for officers currently employed full-time by another agency. Pay, vacation, etc. will be determined by the Chief of Police prior to hire. Further questions about the program can be directed to Lt. Matt Riel.

Additional Education Information
The Beaver Dam Police Department allows an employee 5 years to complete the required 60 college credits from the date of hire. The Beaver Dam Police Department will send qualified candidates to the 720 hour law enforcement academy.
