Position Responsibilities

This is an entry level non-sworn position within the Patrol Division responsible for supporting the operational mission of the organization by performing tasks that do not require a sworn police officer. Work is performed under direct supervision of a Patrol Lieutenant, with general oversight by the Police Captain.

  • Ability to perform essential functions of this position
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Clear and concise speech

  • Good driving record

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
  • No domestic abuse convictions
  • No felony convictions
  • U.S. citizen

Additional Education Information
Enrollment in a post-high school education program in a field related to Criminal Justice, carrying a minimum of nine (9) credit hours (full-time student status), with a minimum of one-year remaining before graduation.
