Reason for Announcement:
Responsibilities:
Perform all Law Enforcement duties for the Village of Slinger, including protection of the general public and property. Enforce state and local laws/ordinances. Answer calls for service. Ability to communicate effectively, conduct investigations, write reports, respond to emergencies, and conduct and investigate traffic crashes.
Lateral Transfer Program Details:
Any sworn officer hired to the rank of police officer under the lateral entry protocol shall receive a starting annual salary commensurate with their full-time years of service up to the fourth stop per the current union contract and proceed through the steps accordingly. Vacation allowance may commensurate with their years of experience as a sworn law enforcement officer and follow current contract language.

- Clear and concise speech
- Driver's license

- Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
