Responsibilities:
The Menomonee Falls Police Department is accepting applications for Law Enforcement Academy Sponsorship. This recruitment is for non-certified/non-academy applicants. Candidates who are hired from this recruitment will be sent to an 18-week Law Enforcement Academy from January 5, 2026 to May 8, 2026. Salary and costs are covered by the Police Department. Upon successful completion of the Law Enforcement Academy, candidates must then successfully complete the Department's Field Training program.
Entry level position that reports to the Patrol Bureau Supervisor. Responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with police patrol, criminal and municipal law enforcement, the maintenance of order, public protection and safety, and other basic police services. Duties exist in the areas of traffic monitoring, control, and enforcement; motor vehicle crash investigation; patrol, observation, and inspection; responding to routine and emergency requests for police assistance; the investigation and reporting of law violations; other similar functions.
