Responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities

All Deputy Jailers are sworn, with full arrest powers, protective status, and paid WRS employer contributions. Employment is in the jail division where your main responsibility will be to maintain the security of the jail. There are opportunities to become a member of many of our specialty units.

Lateral Transfer Program Details:

Starting wages and vacation are negotiable based on years of experience within a correctional facility.
