Responsibilities:
Position Responsibilities
General police functions including patrol, traffic enforcement, ordinance enforcement, maintain public peace, criminal law enforcement, traffic crash investigation. The department fosters the development of officers through training including ICAC, FTO, Firearms Instructor, EVOC, Evidence Tech.
Lateral Transfer Program Details:
Experienced officers with at least two years of experience as a certified law enforcement officer are eligible. Lateral candidates will begin the hiring process immediately upon applying. Candidates in this category will experience an accelerated salary and incentives.

- Driver's license
- Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification

- No domestic abuse convictions
