Our department is staffed year-round, and officers have the opportunity to not only work major events but can also apply to be part of our Duty Officer program. The Duty Officers patrol the State Fair grounds year-round 24 hours a day and respond to all calls for service. The duty officers also respond to mutual aid calls in the sounding areas. Wisconsin State Fair Park is a year-round entertainment venue hosting activity, events, meetings and more throughout the four seasons. Home to the Exposition Center, Tommy G. Thompson Youth Center, the Milwaukee Mile Speedway, Products Pavilion and many other facilities, hundreds of events are held at the Fair Park each year.
