Responsibilities:
Provides protection of life, property and the preservation of peace and good order and provides emergency aid to the institutional community. Performs preliminary and follow-up investigations to solve crimes, identify suspects and victims, apprehend criminals, and document case information. Ensures the safe and orderly flow of traffic on institutional roadways and enforces traffic laws. Provides personal safety and crime prevention education to institutional community. Engages in problem solving, threat mitigation, and conflict resolution for a wide range of issues and incidents involving citizens, groups, campus entities, government agencies, businesses, leaders, and others. Work to enhance UW-Green Bay’s inclusive efforts and create an environment that acknowledges, encourages, and celebrates those with diverse identities, beliefs, and culture.

- Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
- Ability to perform essential functions of this position
- Ability to possess a firearm
- Ability to use all standard law enforcement equipment
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Clear and concise speech
- Driver's license
- Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification
- Good driving record
- Good physical condition
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
- No domestic abuse convictions
- No felony convictions
- Previous experience
- React quickly and effectively to stressful situations
- U.S. citizen
- Vision correctable to 20/20
- Must have previous law enforcement experience
