Responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities

Serve the citizens and visitors to the Village by responding to their requests for assistance; enforce all laws and ordinances; and uphold the Constitutions of the United States and the State of Wisconsin.

Lateral Transfer Program Details:

The Village will consider current Law Enforcement personnel in good standing with a minimum of 2 years of fulltime service who otherwise meet all of the minimum qualifications. Starting pay will be adjusted to number of years of service up to the max 5th year step.

  • Driver's license
  • Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification

  • No domestic abuse convictions

60 college credits / Associate's degree
Additional Education Information
If applicant is in the academy without 60 credits, the Training and Standards Board has developed an allowance of up to 20 credits for successful attendance at an LESB 720 hour academy.
