Responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities

Preventive and directed patrol; Enforcement of federal, state and city laws; Obtain, verify & report information which provides the basis for making arrests; Enforcement of traffic laws & investigation of traffic accidents; Perform the physical functions of police officer. Maximum pay rate shown is for year 2023, a 3 percent raise for 2024 is scheduled per union contract. There are step increases in between the minimum and maximum as spelled out by the union contract.   • Eligibility for Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification

  • Knowledge and skills in operating computer systems
